Our Programs

Mission Statement

Oblong Children's Christian Home's Mission is to glorify God by discipling neglected and troubled children and their families. The home provides a Christian famly model that demonstrates God's unconditional love, teaches God's truth and encourages each child's unique abilities.

Measure of Success

In the last five years:

Average cost of care per child is under $58 per day. Cost is $200 per day in a State child care institution.
In the last seven years twenty two teens have accepted Christ.
Only two children re-arrested after completing the program.
Home has only dismissed five youths before they completed the program.
