Due to the catastrophic flooding near Hutsonville, Illinois, the site of the annual Race for the Kids 5K and duathlon, the event scheduled for Saturday, May 4, must be canceled.

The event will now be held on Saturday, June 1.  Additional participants will be welcomed, and online registration will continue.  Hopefully all flood waters in the affected areas will have receded by this time.

At this time, please remember those who have lost property and have suffered extensive damage because of the flooding in this area.
