You can volunteer work throughout the year on various projects. Please contact the home to see what you or your church group can do.

Estate Planning

Leave a legacy--give a portion of your estate to Oblong Children's Christian Home. Your generosity can provide homes for generations to come. You may designate your gift either to be used as needed by the Home or to be given to the Home’s endowment fund. Gifts given to the endowment fund keep on giving until the Lord returns as only the interest is used annually. There are many ways of giving including giving a percent of your estate or a set amount, giving insurance policies or giving the remainder of your IRA. Several of these vehicles may have great tax advantages that may increase the size of your gift. Annuities which are both a gift and a lifetime income for you/your spouse are available through the Children's Home.
